  1. The ceremony will be cancelled under the following conditions: Typhoon signal no. 8 or above, or black rain signal remains hoisted at 11:00am on the day of the event; or
  2. The Hong Kong Observatory announces that typhoon signal no. 8 or above, or black rain signal will be hoisted at or after 11:00am on the day of the ceremony.
